We at St. Joseph High School prepare young women to live as responsible persons in whatever walk of life they choose. In keeping with the Gospel values and the Charisma of the Sisters of St. Joseph, the faculty and staff in partnership with the students' parents, strive to create and nurture a love of learning in a Christian community.
Our community fosters respect for the uniqueness and dignity of each person. Therefore, education at St. Joseph High School encourages each student to recognize her gifts and to develop and share her talents. Thus she is enabled to continue her life journey and to make a positive impact on the world.
In support of this purpose, the faculty and the staff cooperate:
- To create a climate throughout the school characterized by high expectations for academic excellence and mutual respect;
- To build a strong educational program that meets the needs of the individual by providing diverse opportunities for achievement;
- To motivate the students to take responsibility for their own actions which will result in an ability to form their own ideas, to rise above peer pressure and be true to themselves;
- To provide programs which would enable parents and faculty to work together in order to address all the needs of the students.
