Our Mission
At SJHS we prepare young women to live as responsible persons in whatever path of life they choose. In keeping with Gospel values and the charism of the
Sisters of St. Joseph, the faculty and staff partner with parents to create and nurture a desire to learn in a Christian community.
Our community fosters respect for the uniqueness and dignity of each person.
An education at SJHS encourages students to question, to challenge, to recognize, develop, and she her gifts so that she is able to make a positive impact on the world.
To that end, the faculty and staff cooperate to:
- create a climate characterized by high expectations
- foster academic excellence, recognition, and mutual respect
- offer a strong educational program that provides diversity and allows for individual achievement
- motivate students to be responsible for their actions, rise above peer pressure, and be true to themselves
